I want to get in touch with "PC Assist Software," which publishes three apps available in the Microsoft Store, but the Store app does not list any type of contact information. I want to know if their "Backup Wizard" app contains the option to shutdown / restart / sleep / hibernate the computer when the backup is done, a feature for which some providers of backup applications charge, perhaps dearly. Win10 Pro, Version 21H2 (Build 19044.1706) dL

 

Blocked Software Publishers

When trying to install driver and support software downloaded from the samsung site I get the error message "This publisher has been blocked from running software on your machine.

I have been in contact with support about this and all they were able to suggest is the same things I was able to find in old google searches.

Adding the site to the trusted list via Internet Explorer.

Changing UAC control settings to the lowest.

Running program as administrator.

How can this feature of Windows (blocking certain publishers) be disabled?

If not then will this be fixed in a update very soon?

Is there any other way around this such as removing certificates from software completely (I'm willing to make my own judgement call on what I install)

Because if not then Windows 10 is useless and I would rather go back to Windows 7 than not be able to use all the features on my computer because driver and utility programs are being blocked.
