    App fails to launch - KernelBase.dll error


    I installed the new GoPro Player app, and I am getting two different errors. The App trys to launch, I can see it in the Task Manager momentarily, then it shuts down, and throws the following errors in Event Viewer....The First is an application error:- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">- <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Version>0</Version> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode>&n

    i installed window 10 a while ago & my incredimail stoped working 9error report; flash dll

    breakpoint 80000003/ kernelbase dll

    maybe it has something to do with updates\

    The "Missing VCRUNTIME140.dll" error may have been caused by system file corruption. There might be missing files or documents. This error usually occurs when launching apps or installing Office. For us to investigate the issue, please clarify the following:

    • Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
    • Are you getting the error when launching apps? If so, what apps are you having issues with?

    In the meantime, if you're having issues in launching apps, we suggest uninstalling and reinstalling it. To uninstall an application that's downloaded from Windows Store, kindly refer to the steps provided on this
    link. Click on the drop-down menu and choose
    "Remove in Settings". On the other hand, to uninstall a program that's not downloaded in Windows Store, please refer to these steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    • Click the program that you want to uninstall.
    • Click Uninstall.

    To reinstall apps from Windows Store, perform the following steps:

    • From the Start menu, type Store and press
      Enter
      .
    • On the search bar, type in the name of the app that you want to reinstall and press
      Enter.
    • Click Free or Buy and wait for the program to install.

    If the program is not downloaded from Windows Store, we recommend checking the software developer's website to download it.

    Do let us know the following information to understand and assist you better with this issue:

    • How have you installed Windows 10?
    • What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
    • What exactly do you mean by: "my incredimail stoped working"?
    • When exactly do you get these errors?

    As a workaround, I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type
      updates
      .
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on
      Check for updates.
    • Try to install the updates being shown.
