Windows 10: App history is blank

Discus and support App history is blank in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; When I first installed Windows 10 using a fresh install back on Sept. 10th, everything was showing up on the task manager under the "App history" tab....     App history is blank


    When I first installed Windows 10 using a fresh install back on Sept. 10th, everything was showing up on the task manager under the "App history" tab. Since Sept. 30th, it has been blank, but all of the apps are still working, just not showing up there. Not sure if it was an update from MS that did it or something I could of done.

    Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem and if there is an easy way to fix it without having to do a reinstall. Thanks in advance. I'll attach a screen shot of it.

    Windows 10 Update History is blank

    "View installed update history" is not under Settings >
    Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced options
    > View your update history

    Would a screen grab help?

    In any case I found my answer which is that installing 1709 absorbs all of the updates so that none appear "View installed update history". At least this is what a MS tech assured me. Hope he was correct.

    Hi Vic,

    An update history is available so you can see which updates were installed, and when. You can also use this list to remove specific updates, although we don't recommend this unless it's necessary. To see the update history in Windows 10 you will need to select
    the Start button, then select Settings >
    Update & security     > Windows Update > View installed update history.

    If you want to view all the list of updates for Windows 10 and its version, you can check this
