Windows 10: App Icons Disappearing

Hi, I wanted to fly in roblox without using emulators ok dont get angry I didnt mean to hurt anyone I just wanted to fly in games like which accept this stuff.I downloaded this app "jjsploit " by following the tutorial k im not an idiot but curiosity got me curious.I downloaded it but to my suprise it said it was a virus... I DELETED IT INSTANTLY!But thats what was weird it wasnt letting me delete it. I forced it to delete and thank god it worked..But another thing when I deleted it.. Some of my app icons disappeared. Corrupted system files may be one of the possible causes why the icons on your desktop disappeared. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
• Have you tried creating a new user profile and check if the problem is in the current profile or also with the new profile?

Meanwhile, I suggest that you follow the steps shared by Meliton Dec on this
thread.
The given troubleshooting steps will help repair or reset not only missing apps but also lost icon.

Additionally, You can reset the Icon Cache. Kindly follow the steps provided below:

• Open File Explorer and navigate to the following folder:
  
  C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
• In the Explorer folder, you will see a lot of files with the
  iconcache name. Delete all of them.

Once you have deleted all the iconcache files, a folder names IconCacheToDelete
will appear. Simply restart your PC and this folder will disappear.

In the event that you are unable to delete some of the files, see the steps below:

• Open elevated Command Prompt. (Win+X > Command Prompt (Admin))
• Type the following command, and then press Enter:
  
  cd /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer attrib –h iconcache_*.db del iconcache_*.db start explorer

If the issue still persists, I recommend you try the suggestion provided by
kpeW9 on this thread or the steps shared by
Guru Khan G on this thread
to troubleshoot your concern. This will also help you scan for corruption and restore corrupted files/Windows corruptions error.

I suggest you to go perform the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

• Open the Sub File Folder
• Select the Icon
• Click on View
• Select Large Icons

The 'Photos' app for photo viewing has disappeared.

I do not understand this, when I returned to the PC later today my original settings had returned to the start screen, including one other tile which I had also lost but had not yet re-instated. Also the original list of 'All apps' had returned to the start
screen, including 'Photos'. There is nothing that I am aware of having done that should have caused the original disappearance of some apps from the 'All apps' list and their associated tiles, or that could have caused them to return.

It has therefore been unnecessary to follow your suggested steps, though I have done so anyway and it works as suggested. Note that I had followed your steps 1 & 2 earlier which is why I knew 'Photos' had not disappeared from the PC but was simply not
visible on the 'All apps' list and hence my inability to re-pin the tile.
