    App in Startup folder takes 90 seconds to load.


    I placed a shortcut to Chrome in the Startup folder. The path is is C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. The path to the program is C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe. Chrome is set to open my home page on startup. However, Chrome doesn’t start for about 90 seconds after the desktop loads. In fact, if I run Chrome from a shortcut on the desktop when the desktop loads, it loads immediately.

    Startup programs not launching on startup

    Replying to Brink none of that works here is why-
    Step 1- No items listed in startup on task manager as stated.
    Step 2- I dont have shell:Startup on the pc as it cannot be located
    Step 3- I dont understand that option also the startup folder cannot be found
    Step 4- No apps showing under startup on settings
    Step 5- Dont have access to advanced options at all for any apps
    Step 6- Doesn't work.

    @dalchina, Will try the program now and no I have no suitable restore points and also nothing that I am aware of has been updated besides for Windows Updates but nothing major. WIll respond once I try the program.

    Split Steam app folder between 2 HDD?

    As the title suggests I want to find out if there's a way I can split my steam app folder on to 2 drives, specifically an SSD that I will be putting my OS and most used games and apps and a regular HDD for everything else?
