  1. App Installed is in German

So basically I play Minecraft windows 10, bought it in the Microsoft store. After a while, I wanted a client, so I searched some up and downloaded it. after it downloaded I opened it and it was in German, when I checked the tutorial it was in English, so how come when I download apps in chrome they are in german, not in English anymore it gets really annoying and I give up trying to translate it.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. App Installed is in German :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Live mail and Picture manager comes in german after Windows 10 upgrade

    Hi Hank,

Thank you for being part of Microsoft Community.

    • Do you have German language pack installed on the computer?
    • From which operating system did you upgrade to Windows 10?

If you have German language pack installed then I would suggest you to switch to English language pack and then check if it works.

Please revert if you face any issues with Windows in future.
