  1. App limits are being worked around

    Hi all,

I set an app limit on my daughters Windows10 Laptop so she could only play roblox for X hours per day.

When she accesses the app via the desktop shortcut the limit is enforced which is awesome but then i got my weekly report and saw that she far suppassed the allowed time on the app.

I since discovered if she goes in to roblox from the start menu, she can access the app with no limits. This seems to be a pretty big flaw. Is there something ive done wrong in setting up the limits that allows this loophole?

    :)

App limits are being worked around

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. App limits are being worked around :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
