Windows 10: App / Program to unformat an SD Card ?

Can anyone recommend a decent app / program that'll un-format an SD card? At least one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I accidently formatted the wrong SD card.

Advice appreciated.

Program installed on SD card runs but is not shown on drive

Great call! Program was on C drive. not the SD card. Prior to installation, I'd set new apps to be saved to the SD card, but after the installation I changed the setting back to This PC, as I didn't want all future apps to automatically install to the SD card. I will have to try an installation again to see if the program is located where I think it is!

SD CARD

All appps are installed in phone memory. There is no way around this. You can install a game FROM the SD card but it is then installed in the device's main memory.



STEP 1: Copy all the .xap files which you want to install in your Windows 8 phone to your SD card.

STEP 2: Now go to Start -> Store -> SD card and wait for few minutes for all the .xap files to be loaded.

STEP 3: Select the app which you want to install -> Select Install option.

STEP 4: If your apps are compatible then you can see them in the Compatible apps list if not it will be shown in the Incompatible apps list.

STEP 5: Once you have successfully installed the apps, you can see those apps listed in the Apps list from start.

Unformatted Micro SD Card

My new Nokia 5610 XpressMusic comes with a 1GB NOKIA micro SD memory chip. The problem is that the phone sees the chip as "unformatted" with no options to format it anywhere whatsoever. Windows cannot detect the memory chip at all.

Where is the problem? How can I format and start using it?
