Windows 10: App shows suspended for a fews seconds in task manger then closes but the app never opens.

I have a user with CMS-D3 software for internal cameras. Everything worked fine until they installed HID software for a new ID printer. It came with a signature pad, webcam and i believe fingerprinting module. I have uninstalled the camera software multiple times and added it back, gave permissions to the folder - nothing. I might also add this only happens on normal user accounts it works as intended on my admin account. Any help on this is appreciated.

Suspended apps on task manager

Hi I was wondering if there is a way I could unsuspend apps or stop them from being suspended in task manager

When I try and open a game I have in file explorer it starts processing it for a bit and then suspends it and closes it but its only using less than 4% of the cpu

wondering how to stop it from suspending apps all together or how to unsuspend certain apps

 

Apps now suspending when opened

Having user apps suspended by Windows is not in itself a problem. Your specs aren't fully filled in, so I have to ask how much memory you have and the HDD/SSD info. That could have a bearing on it.

 

Can't close open apps

If you always use the back arrow instead of the window key you will close apps. Hold down the arrow and note your open apps. Then use the single arrow key a few times and you not only cycle thru the apps you have open but close them as you leave. Hold
down the arrow again to see your open apps and you will notice a smaller list.

I too would prefer a way to close certain apps only but so far the suspend feature in windows 8 phone works very well. I don't notice any performance hit on my phone with a over 16 apps open.
