Windows 10: App window stuck off screen after removing secondary monitor!

There is already a same question, but seems valid for Windows 7. Well, i am running Windows 11 in 2023 and this problem from 2014 is still **** persisting because **** Micros[****] isnt able to solve it!!My problem:i had multiples monitors connected, and different Apps were open on those 2. The apps were closed before shutdown. I removed one monitor was the secondary one and since then all Apps that were open on that one can't show on the only existing monitor anymore. The App appear off screen and all help suggested for WIndows 7 / 10 dont work in 11. Wow, what a great performance by Micro[

Thank you for your response.

In this case, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.

1. Launch Skype.
2. Drag the Skype Window to secondary monitor.
3. Resize the window as per your preference.
4. Maximize the Window and Restore Down.
5. Then close the skype window in secondary monitor.
6. Then try re-launching and check if the issue resolves.

• What is the make and model number of your laptop?
  
• Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps given below:

Method 1: Disable over scan function on monitor

1. Turn on the second monitor
   
2. From the buttons available on monitor, find and press the on-screen menu button
   
3. Select the Picture Advanced option
   
4. Select the option reading Overscan
   
5. Select Off
   

Method 2: Adjust vertical position

1. Open the on-screen monitor
   
2. Navigate to Position option
   
3. Select Auto Adjustment if available
   

Method 3: Update drivers in Windows

Update the Display Adapters from device manager

Update drivers manually in Windows - Microsoft Support

I would also suggest you to make sure that the resolution are same for both the screen

How to automatically dim secondary monitor, when app is fullscreen?

Related wish: The ability for an app to be full screen on one monitor while another app is full screen on the other monitor, and a hotkey that can switch input focus between each app(screen) without breaking the full screen of either app. For instance it would be nice to be able to play a game full screen on one monitor while playing a movie full screen on another monitor, but as far as I know right now if I click on the other screen the movie reverts back to windowed mode(the same is true of games that allow me to move my mouse over to the other screen) =/ Another related situation is having a full screen movie on one monitor while browsing the web on another monitor; clicking away from the movie onto the other screen makes it go to windowed mode.

Just like windows have input focus it would be nice if screens had a mode where you could switch input focus between the screens to allow an app to be full screen on each monitor.
