Windows 10: App windows look very small

I have a new laptop that has UHD display and noticed that the windows for some programs (i.e., apps) look very small and so does the font in those windows, and I can't expand the window either. Most app windows are normal though, it's only a couple of apps that show this issue. I have Windows 10 Pro. I also had Windows 10 (Home) in my previous laptop and didn't have this issue with the same apps, but my previous laptop was didn't have UHD display.


Is there a workaround for this issue?

Need a small app...

Hi,

I need a small app to get an image from a web (in my case, intranet) address, and display it as a Windows Wallpaper.

I am on Windows Vista.

Small tiles sometimes being half of its original size

I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Resize the app.

• 
  Open the Start menu.
  
• 
  Right click on the icons (which are appearing small on your start menu) and click on Resize.
  
• 
  Select the option like small/medium/large/wide which you like. (Resize options vary from the app to app)
  

Step 2: If the particular app is missing/not there on Start menu.

• 
  Open the Start menu, type the app name in the search bar.
  
• 
  Once you see the pap name on the search bar, right click on it and click on Pin to start if the app is not there on Start menu. (you may click on Pin to taskbar also if you wish to pin the app to taskbar)
