I have been trying get support on this issue we are seeing on a few systems across our campuses. When users log into their computers all icons disappear then they try to launch the start menu or explorer or settings and they see a Application Control window. We have deployed Defender ATP and manage security policies in Intune. When I search security.microsoft.com portal device logs I see this "svchost.exe was prevented from executing by App Control code integrity policy". We have never setup any code integrity policy. There seems to be a default policy am I correct on assuming this? Do I disa

Smartscreen blocking an EXE

Hi,

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• Do you get any option to save password?
• Which application are you referring to?

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Right click on the shortcut or in File explorer and select Run as administrator check if that helps.
• Also observe when you type password do you get a prompt for saving password just above Taskbar.

Internet Explorer won't open

Hi,

• If you cannot start Internet Explorer, you can open the settings window by pressing Windows Key + R, typing "inetcpl.cpl" in the Run box, and then pressing Enter. After the
  window is open, follow the steps that are described in the "How to reset Internet Explorer settings" section.

If above steps failed to solve.

• Try to create new user account and then open IE.

Or

• Try clean installation method to reset your system.

 

Error- HTTP/1.1 200 OK on Edge and other browers goes blank when try to open particular websites

• Since from when are you facing this issue?
• What happens when you try to access the same websites in other PC?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it help you.

• Open the Microsoft Edge browser. Open a website.
• Click on '. . .' select Open with Internet Explorer
  and check if the issue persists.

If the issue doesn't resolve, try the below steps.

• Press Start, type Internet Explorer and
  select it.
• Press Ctrl + Shift + P, it opens Internet Explorer as
  InPrivate mode. Try to access the website and check if the issue still persists.
