    I received notification this morning to download the above noted security Update to my Windows 10 laptop. "Apple, Inc - USBDevice - 5/7/2018 12:00:00 AM - 423.36". Nothing unusual with the update...except that my iPhone which I use as a hotspot on my laptop in my car and connect through the USB ports would no longer connect my laptop to the internet.


    I read previous inquiries on this site and followed the Microsoft directions to the Device Manager under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" but found nothing similar to the above. However, under "Universal Serial Bus devices" I found a single file as "Apple Mobile Device USB Composite Device". Is this the file that needs to be deleted to allow my laptop to return to connecting with my iPhone via a USB cable?

    So I installed the "Apple, Inc - USBDevice - 5/7/2018 12:00:00 AM - 423.36" update today. After installing, my iPhone 7 constantly starts and stops charging. It charged completely normally before this update. I have it plugged into a powered port on a USB
    hub connected to my PC.

    Is there a way to uninstall this update? I can't find it in the "uninstall updates" window.
