Windows 10: Apple Software Update 64-bit for Windows 10

Hi,


After 20H2 update Win 10 on Mac Air didn't work anymore. I reinstalled Win 10.


My keyboard has an issue: e.g. click right, volume, scroll up, down don't work anymore. Tried to use Apple Software Update 64-bit for Windows 10 but the shortcut displays "parameter is incorrect".


Any advice how can locate/install Apple software update & solve the keyboard issue?

Windows 10 64 bit 1803 -- Apple Software Update -- always same updates shown

I have a problem for some time. One of my Windows 10 64 bit1803 computer has a problem with the Apple Software Update system. Every time the software starts, the same updates appear to be listed. I select the items to update and the software reports the
updates to be installed. However, when I run the update software again, the same updates are shown.

Apple support forums are not helpful. No one gives any advice besides the "boring" uninstall ALL the Apple software (iTunes, iCloud, Apple Software Update etc..,) restart the Windows 10 computer and re-install the Apple software. They say that this "guarantees"
the Update software will be fixed. I tried many times and no change. It never fixes it.

I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile
