Windows 10: Apple Trackpad with Surfacebook (Windows)

Discus and support Apple Trackpad with Surfacebook (Windows) in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I recently got the original Apple trackpad to use with my surface book.     Apple Trackpad with Surfacebook (Windows)


    I recently got the original Apple trackpad to use with my surface book. I am trying to see if there is a way to make it compatible with all the windows gestures. It works fine with clicking but in terms of scrolling up and down with two fingers and zooming in and out... no luck.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    I have checked the
    system requirements     of Magic Trackpad and I see that it requires Bluetooth 4.0-enabled Mac computer with OS X v10.11 or later. If you have installed Windows 10 on a Mac using Boot Camp, refer this article on

    How to identify your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad     to use Magic Trackpad. You cannot use Magic Trackpad on a non-Mac computer. For more information regarding this, I'd suggest you to contact
    Apple support.

    trackpad not working

    No. Because the troubleshooting guide on device manager wont even resolve my solution as it is also a basic and one of the primary steps to do but no avail. Tried installing powerplan7 and trackpad++ suggested by relentless on apple forums but with
    no success for me. Until now i can't use windows 10 installed on my macbook pro 15inch late 2008 because of the trackpad/touchpad failure.
