Windows 10: Application launches in second screen even when second screen is disconnected

I use my laptop throughout the day connected to an external monitor and naturally move some applications to the external monitor. If I disconnect the monitor and try to launch an application that was previously on the external monitor, even though the external monitor is no longer connected, the application does not launch on the laptop screen and there's no way I can use the application unless I connect the external monitor and drag the application to the laptop screen. Is this a bug. If not, what can I do to move the application back to the laptop display when the external monitor is not connected because sometimes I do not have access to the external monitor.

Applications on main and second screen blurry

Hi,

I have a second screen hooked up to my laptop and some applications are blurry on my main screen (laptop) but not on the second screen. I have the same problem the other way around, some applications will be cristal clear on my second screen but not on my
main screen. Probably has to do something with DPI scaling and font sizing. I've already tried the following solutions.

• Change scale in display settings (It won't detect the second screen even though it is working).
• Updated both my GPU's (GTX 1050 and a Intel stock GPU).
• Tried to change the DPI settings on specific applications.
• Downloaden XPExplorer (set it to Windows 8 DPI scaling)

None of them fixed my problem. Is there any way to fix this?

 

Touch Screen as Second Monitor - Apps launching on main monitor

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with using a touch screen as a second monitor.

I have managed to get it to use the touch functionality, so I can press on the touch screen and it will launch Edge, for example. However, my next problem is that it is launching the applications on my main monitor.

Is there some setting I need to change so that it launches on the second monitor.

For some more detail, we are trying to set up Promethean V5 smart panels for a classroom setup. There will be the V5 board connected to a PC and the PC will also have a monitor. The PC monitor has to stay as the main monitor and the setup will be extended (this is not an issue when setting up as a duplicate screen, for obvious reasons).

If anyone has any useful tips or suggestions on things to try I would really appreciate them.
