Windows 10: Application menu horizontal spacing

On my 15 inch 4K screen, zoomed to 300%, the horizontal spacing of application menus is quite cramped. It is possible that these are configured somewhere in physical pixels, rather than in twips.


So take Notepad for example. The File, Edit, View, etc menus are packed very closely together. That is what I need to give more breathing space. Right now it looks like "FileEditView" instead of "File Edit View".


How can I do that?

Start menu not going horizontal

I have just upgraded to windows 10 but cannot make my start menu horizontal

I can make it vertical.

Question is there any steps that I missed to be able to make it go horizontal.

 

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.

  Are referring any application when you say fn menu?
  

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check smart audio is listed under icons appear on task bar.

• 
  On system tray right click on date and time
  
• 
  Click on customize notification icon
  
• 
  Click on Select which icons appear on task bar
  
• 
  And see if you are able to see Conexant smart audio
