Windows 10: Application not working.

Hi there. So basically, I was trying to reset my computer back to my recovery point. And it worked. But, ever since I reset back to the recovery point, my Paint, Photos and Notepad are not working at all. Can someone help me fix this issue?Error message:ms-resource:AppDisplayName can’t open because it cannot be found. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.Note: I did use CCleaner to update my drivers, and ever since then, my computer has been acting weird lately.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Application to test CPU

I`m looking for an application to test if my CPU is working properly. Any suggestions, guys? *Smile

It must be difficult when things do not work as expected.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to check whether the applications are compatible or not from the manufactures website. If these applications are compatible, I suggest you to run the application in compatible mode and check if it helps to
resolve the issue.

Please follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Program
• Click on Properties
• Click on Compatibility tab
• Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
