Windows 10: Application Stopped Working after Windows 11 Pro ARM Update KB5025305

Hello Windows Users,I am a Mac user, however in order to play a game that I played in my yearly teens I decided to download Parallels Windows because the game does not run in Mac. When I first installed the game I was having the same issue that I am having now. After installation the game.exe would not open. As I checked the Task Manager I saw that the game.exe file was actually running on the background. After some time trying I figured that I needed to change the emulation settings and it worked fine, performance was great and I was having a lot of fun. Well, the fun lasted only 12 days. On

Does Windows 11 Pro work on a surface X Pro with the SQ2 processor?I

Can I ask which version of Windows 11 pro you have and where did you get it? I bought one from Amazon to upgrade from Windows 11 and it decidedly doesn't work, stopping on a screen that invites me to fix or adjust certain things, (listed below, it says) but with nothing on the list as needing attention. It then will not proceed.

You are referring to the Surface X Pro with the ARM processor, SQ2?

 

Windows 11 Pro ARM for Mac with M1

I'm currently running the latest Dev channel of Windows 11 ARM on a Mac with an M1 chip via Parallels. I want to switch to the Pre-release channel but am having trouble figuring out if there is even a Pre-release version of Windows 11 Pro ARM.

I've read that I have to do a clean install of Windows in order to switch channels, but not sure where to find said ARM Pre-release download. The only download I'm seeing in Insider is for Build 22533--which I believe is still a Dev channel build.

Follow up to this question is that my current Windows 11 ARM Dev channel build is activated. How do I transfer my key over to the Pre-release build (if there is one available)?

Windows 10/11 ARM preview is only for development purposes and it's supported only these conditions:

ARM64 VMs are only supported on devices that meet the pre-requisites:

• Windows 11 ARM-based PCs with a Microsoft SQ1, Microsoft SQ2, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, or Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor
  
• Hyper-V enabled (instructions)
  

Dev channel Insider Previews are testing latest latest developed features it isn't recommend to use on work environment.

There is no support for Insider Previews in any case and using Win 10/11 ARM on Mac M1 isn't supported you by Microsoft.
