  1. Applications always full-screened

For context, I like to keep my taskbar hidden so it isn't always on my screen. Recently I've noticed that anytime I maximize an application it sort of puts itself "fullscreen" and I'm unable to access the taskbar unless I press the Windows key. Even if an application has a notification, which used to bring the taskbar up from being hidden, it no longer brings the taskbar forward. Whatever application I'm looking at maximized is the only application I can see until I press the windows key. Is this some hidden update or is there something I can do to stop applications from being permanently full

    :)

How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)
