Windows 10: Applications closing randomly about 5 seconds after opening

So I have been having this problem for about a week now. I noticed it from Steam. Steam itself launches fine, but none of the games from within. I will get the splash screen for a few seconds and then it closes. So I started some trouble shooting and noticed that other applications are doing the same. Device manager for example, will open, but only stay open for about 5 seconds then close. After LOTS of restarts I reverted back to a restore point that was auto set up from the 13th of Feb. Everything went back to normal. Last night, was working fine.. Today, I restarted my computer and am now having this issue again. I don't know if it's a broken update, but when I ran the sfc/scannow tool, it advised that there were corrupt files that were fixed. I then ran DISM.exe /cleanup.. etc.. restared, and still not working. I'd rather not have to go back to a restore point after every restart. Any help would be super appreciated!

Windows 10 Camera Opens, but closes in 5 Seconds

MS-Windows 'Camera Window' opens, but only for about 5 Seconds, then closes.

Haven't previously used the Windows Camera on my Laptop. (Rely on my Tablet). Today, pinned Windows Camera to Task Bar, checked 'Settings\Privacy\Camera' set to 'Allow Access'
and that Settings\Camera shows 'Camera Switched On'.

Every time I attempt to use the Camera, a Window Opens displaying it, but only for about 5 Seconds, then closes.

During the 5 Seconds the Window stays open, I tried clicking the Camera Settings Cog (which responds by opening to show a list of settings) but the Camera Window still closes before anything else can be done / clicked. (Can't keep it open for longer than 5
Seconds, literally).

Running latest 64bit Windows 10 Professional on an elderly Sony VAIO Laptop (9 Years Old). Everything else working fine, as far as I can tell. Thoughts? (Thanks in advance for any Comments).

 

Store App opens loads for about a second then closes


1. Go to "This PC"
2. Double click "OS (C"
3. Open "Users"
4. Open your username (The Profile you are currently working in)
5. Open "AppData"
6. Open "Local"
7. Open "Packages"
8. Open "Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
9. Open "LocalCache"
10. Delete the entire folder, with contents, you see there.
For those who didn't want/need a step by step:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Then delete the one folder in LocalCache.
And that's pretty much it. Opened store and no issues after. Also if anyone is having issues with the Mail App, if you have AVG, it's the firewall on that so just turn it off and mail will start syncing. Hope this helps everyone.

 

Windows randomly closes

My windows will randomly just close at odd times. Any suggestions?
