This has been going on for about a month or so. After running my computer for an hour or so, most the applications will either shut down, or freeze entirely. Even if I'm not using my pc, and I leave chrome running in the background then it will still crash Chrome after awhile. I'm not sure why this happens, and I get a really strange code. I've tried Googling the different codes, but I have not found anything that relates to my problem. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough, but I figured I would check here.

I have have a pretty nice computer that I built myself with plenty of ram, cpu, and gpu power. I use wallpaper engine, and whenever that is running it seems to speed up the crashing process. It could just be me overthinking though. Here's an example of one of the applications that crashed. This will normally pop up for each application that crashed and I'll have to close 2-3 of these notifications when it happens.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

Applications keep crashing after certain amount of time

Pc Crashes/Freezes while playing games. Temp not above 80c

    Hi Bushido,

Welcome to the 10forums Applications keep crashing after certain amount of time :)

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

    Attachment 97639

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

There seem to be a lot of app crashes from Realtek audio, I would suggest a reinstallation of the drivers.
