Windows 10: Applications set to fullscreen have massive issues since last update

Hello,ever since the last automatic update a few nights ago all my apps mostly games which were running in fullscreen now fail to properly display. On start, the screen goes black for a moment, and then back to the desktop - with the app still running, and often flashing orange in the taskbar.Only by spamming MB1 on the taskbar icon I get the app to stay up, seemingly by random chance.About my Windows:Windows 10 ProVersion 20H2Os build 19042.1165All my drivers are up-to-date.My taskbar is at the top of my screen. Other than that, this is a bog standard install. I have not installed any start

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

The VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

I suggest you to remove all the external devices except mouse and keyboard, restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.

If still the issue persist then follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to install all the latest pending Windows updates as below and check if it helps.

• Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
• Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
• Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Step 2: Also I suggest you to update all the drivers (Display drivers) from the device manager and check if it helps.

• Press ‘Windows+X’ and go to ‘Device Manager’.
• Then you can right click on each driver and update it.
• Restart the computer and check if it helps.

fullscreen issues Win10 1803 update

I am having the same issues since the last update. 99% sure this is a w10 issue and not necessarily a driver problem. I updated all of my video drivers again anyway and the problem persists. There have always been issues with the taskbar overlapping fullscreen applications in w10 and I think these problems are related. I am betting that we have to wait for a fix from Microsoft.
