    I have windows 10 machine , created applocker exe rule targeted to c drive %OSDRIVE%\* i have only this drive. while creating tis policy made exception to c:\Windows\* to function all windows component and added publisher exception to all Microsoft related exe and some of my personal exe which does have signature on it which is running seamlessly. All this working as expected but when i turned to Enforcement mode and restarted windows key and search bar on the task bar seems like freeze . when checked system logs i can see Unable to start DCOM server:Microsoft.Windows.SHellExperienceHost_**

    AppLocker GPOs marked as applied but Rules are not enforced

    Hi Community,

    We have been experiencing a problem with AppLocker GPOs in a Windows 10 Environment.

    The Domain functionality level is: Server 2012R2

    Domain Controllers are running: Windows Server 2016

    Workstations are running: Windows 10 Enterprise Build 17134

    We have 2 GPOs; one containing DLL AppLocker Rules and one containing EXE, Script, Appx etc.. Rules.

    When running a gpupdate /force on an affected workstation and getting the gpresult the GPOs appear to be applied and are marked as winning however the contents of C:\Windows\system32\Applocker files are not being updated and recent rules added to both GPOs
    are not being applied. i.e. a new application which has been whitelisted will not run for the user albeit being specified in the applied GPO.

    Can someone please shed some light into this issue?

    Applocker enforcement on Windows 10 Pro

    As far as I understand, Applocker can be configured on Windows 10 Enterprise and Server 2012 R2. Would I be able to create a group policy on our 2012 R2 AD server and enforce applocker policies on Windows 10 Pro installations on the domain?

    Applocker

    I block the IE just for testing
    But now its block all exe file and i run the default rule.
    I want that regular user will be able to install exe files
    But applocker block all exe
    any suggestion ?
