Windows 10: Apps are not showing in control panel/apps are missing when Right clicking files to open with

Discus and support Apps are not showing in control panel/apps are missing when Right clicking files to open with in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I am running Windows 10, I reset my PC because I had a Windows error.     Apps are not showing in control panel/apps are missing when Right clicking files to open with


    I am running Windows 10, I reset my PC because I had a Windows error. Everything now works great but my Programs that were Installed on my other Drive are not showing up in the ControlPanel. Also when Right Clicking files Example: I right clicked an MP3 file toopen with VLC but its not there on the list.

    No, that's not the sort of 'file location' the OP is referring to. Your 'file location' opens File Explorer at the location of the shortcut for that app in the Start Menu's Programs folder. The OP wants the list of recently opened files, or the Jump List as it is known (hover over each one and it shows its file location). Theirs is turned off (and yours by the looks of it).

    Yes. This is the one. Weirdly it now shows all the recent files after update. Maybe that has something to do with it. I did not do anything at all.

    Thank you again. I guess the problem is solved.

    Programs Missing From Control Panel List


    Go to All apps > find the program under the Alphabet > right click at it > click Uninstall.
    Example : Auslogics.
    All apps > Alphabet A > right click Auslogics > Uninstall.
