Windows 10: Apps are unable to restart the window11 to complete installation

For some reasons, I reset my windows 11. when i was trying to open the Armoury Crate, it requires an update for pephrial. the problem is after installation, it said "restart the system to complete installation". after i clicked the restart now button, it just closes the app and does not restart the windows. after I restart the windows by myself, Armoury Crate still requires an update. not only for this app, i find any app requiring restart the windows to update does not work on my laptop.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
