    Apps closes after two days when slu fails.

    Hi,

    I have several PCs with S.O. Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTBS. They have all of them an application running in unnatended way.

    All the apps, after more or less tow days closes without any log (event in eventviewer) and it's just after an execution of Software Service Protection. The apps are different (diferent components and UI technology) so I can't believe that all apps just agree to stop together.

    So I think there is a problem with slu.exe that is causing apps to close. slu can't running correctly (always give error) because the pcs are not connected to internet.

    There is a bug that can cause apps to close when slu.exe fails several times? How can it be resolved?

    This is the result of slu.exe, as there isn't communication with microsoft servers:

    License Activation (slui.exe) failed with the following error code:

    hr=0x80072EE7

    Command-line arguments:

    RuleId=3482d82e-ca2c-4e1f-8864-da0267b484b2;Action=AutoActivate;AppId=55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f;SkuId=706e0cfd-23f4-43bb-a9af-1a492b9f1302;NotificationInterval=1440;Trigger=TimerEvent

    Thanks,

    :)

    • Click on View all on top left pane.
    • Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

    I suggest you to perform the following steps one by one and check if it helps.

  4. Apps closes after two days when slu fails.

    Windows 10 fails to update

    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
