Windows 10: Apps crash when saving images

I started having a problem today where my browser crashes when i try to save an image file. The "save as" dialog box comes up and will not show the folder contents of the current folder and immediately freezes the app. Crashes when trying to save images in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and with the snipping tool. It also crashes if you open a random image file on the computer and try to save it.I am running Windows 11. Microsoft store and windows are both fully up to date.I have done a system file checker scan which found no issues.I can't figure this out. Any suggestions?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to download an image file.

• Enlarge the photo you want to download.
• You will get a download option.
• Or you can press Ctrl + S key and save.

Or if you copy the file and want to save you can follow the steps provided below.

• Copy the file you want to download.
• Goto Start page.
• Type Paint.
• Open Paint application.
• Press Ctrl + V key.
• And save the image file.

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

images: for ppl that use lots of image apps

image app/site where you can it takes 2 images and auto-puts them side by side into 1 image

there was an image app a long time ago that does this, i've no idea what the name was tho
maybe there's something that is current & better

minimal requiremetns

1. should take a few steps (2 or so steps) just like that prevous app/site
2. app/site needs to have a specfiic feature specifically for this
3. should be free ofc for such a simple thing

since many ppl dont use many image apps, this may be a hard find
