Windows 10: apps disappearing

I have recently updated windows 10 and find that some apps have stopped working, for instance Facebook and ITV Player/Hub. I am annoyed with this, especially with Facebook, as I am unable to log in with my original account, as it rejects every password I have tried.

Could someone please explain why this has happened and whether I will be able to retrieve my original fb account?

Disappearing Apps

Last night, 10/29/19 most of my desktop apps disappeared and are gone off my system. I have no apps store, no games that I have been playing for years. The few that are left do not load and I cannot reload the deleted programs. Anyone else?????

1. Have you done any changes on your system?

2. Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps yet?

 

Hi suggest you verify that using a different PC - or even a boot disk with an OS and networking - I can't think of and haven't seen anything that could be attributable to Win 10 assuming you have working internet access, unless it's something to do with your cookie settings, perhaps. Clearly you can log in here..
