Windows 10: Apps do not stay logged in since update to 1903

I have a Surface Book 2 that recently updated to 1903. Since the update, certain apps do not retain their login info. I have to log in again every time I open the app. It's certainly not all apps, but the apps concerned are consistently logging me out after I close them. Examples of apps that have the problem: Amazon Shopping, Twitter, Netflix. Apps that don't have the problem: Spotify, Flickr, Office, etc.

I tried the obvious, clearing cache, reinstalling apps, but no result. Does anyone recognize this behavior?

Staying logged on

Thank you for that information.

If you want to stay logged in to your computer, please follow the steps below:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Select Lock screen.
• Click on Screen timeout settings.
• From there you can now change the settings to Never.

Thank you - that seems to have solved my problem. (But why could I not have been told this in the first place (rather than requiring me to look for "lower right hand corner select Screen Saver" direct from the Personalisation screen?!(

 

Cannot update to 1903

O_O thats a lot of steps. Starting in a few mins. Quick question though:
You list a set of instructions for "Windows 10 iso as an in place upgrade repair" with links, and then you included a box for "Routine troubleshooting steps" with 13 steps including links.

Which should I be following first?

PLEASE don't hate me for asking this as this just occurred to me. Should I try the update in Safe mode? I downloaded the MediaCreationTool 1903, but it wasn't successful in doing the update, nor was it successful in creating Usb install.
