Windows 10: Apps & features says 200GB usage, only 12GB of programs installed, what is using this space?

Hi all,I've been trying to free up space on my hard drive however I've encountered an issue.If I go to storage settings, it says that in the 'apps & feature's category 202GB is currently being utilised. However the installed programs on the PC only add up to around 11.7GB. This is confirmed when opening the programs and features window which states 11.7GB total.Above: Apps & Features showing 202GB usageAbove: Programs & Features showing 11.7GBWhat could be utilising this space and how can I reduce it? Do let us know if you have installed any programs after upgrade to Windows 10?

I suggest you to try the below and check if helps.

Steps:

• Right click on Start button from desktop and select
  Programs and Features.
• Click on View installed updates to find if any installed.
• If there are no programs installed then you will see: No programs are installed on this computer in the window.

Apps & features disc space doesn't add up to storage use listed

Under "Settings," and "Storage," my OS_Install (C total size is 238 GB.

Under "This is how your storage is used and how you can free up space," it says...

Apps & features....98.8 GB

Yet even a cursory total of all programs listed (by size) under Apps & features reveals a total of about 1.5 GB.

And, a bunch of programs are listed at the bottom (including at least one that needs a lot of storage space) without *any* numbers.

Should I presume that the Settings -> Storage utility is incapable of listing ALL programs and all of the space they require?

Why the massive difference (98.8 GB vs 1.5 GB)?

 

How do I reinstall an app that the computer says is not there but the store says is installed

I used Powershell to uninstall it again and double checked that the tile was gone. It was. Then I reinstalled it from the store. I checked in the start list and the game is listed under "recently added" and listed under "D" in the "All Apps" from the
start menu. I reset the store like Ruth suggested and tried to open the game from the store's "Open" box -- no luck. Then I tried opening the game from the start menu - no luck.

Under "Settings" and "Apps and Features" the game is not listed.

The store says that the game is installed.

The Package is listed under PowerShell as:

Full Name: A278AB0D.DragonMainaLegends_1.7.0.15_x86_h6adky7gbf63m

Install Location: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\A278AB0D.DragonMainaLegends_1.7.0.15_x86_h6adky7gbf63m
