Windows 10: apps hiding in the background and not showing in the taskbar when more of them are opened...

I use google chrome and I always leave the maximum number of tabs opened in that at the same time which will consume a lot of RAM I know, but I also have a lot of RAM on my PC 32GB so that shouldn't be a problem and according to task manager only 42% of my RAM is under usage which is again fine. But recently every time I have 2 google chrome windows opened at the same time and I open a third app for instance spotify then one of chrome windows will be closed immediately and if I try to reopen that then the spotify will be closed, at first I thought it's a chrome bug but then I tested it wit

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

Please let us know which build are you currently in?

If you are in build number: 14342, I suggest you to follow the steps below to
hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the Taskbar and Go to
  settings.
  
• 
  Click on the taskbar option.
  
• 
  Under Multiple displays you can turn off the option for
  Show taskbar on all displays.
