Windows 10: Apps icons looking weird on desktop

Hello, this may very well be a silly question, but today some of my icons on my desktop started looking like this:the apps work normally when i click on the icons, but i just don't understand why they look like this and it's kinda bugging me. i tried restarting my laptop and after that even more icons started to look like that. what is the problem? i hope it's not anything serious

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

Weird desktop icon behaviour on Steam

Yes, they are; however, when I right click on the "blue sphere" icon to change it and browse to the corresponding folder inside the Steam folder, it lets me go through all the steps, but the blue sphere remains. *Confused

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
