Windows 10: Apps in App execution aliases are not being turned on

I accidentally turned off one of the appspython in App execution aliases. When I again wanted to turn it back on, it was not being turned on. I want to turn it on. Because after this event whenever I open a project in vs code, it says This app can't run on your pc; to find a version for your pc check with the software publisher.


Help me.

The app aliases used to run any app like an executable file from a command prompt. If you like, you can turn on or off allowing the use of the alias for an app. This can be handy if multiple apps use the same alias.

Those are default system files in the windows pc used to run an application.

The purpose of this system files is run to make the your apps in the Windows run perfectly.

Please don't delete those files to avoid any errors or system crash.

The app you're trying to install isn't a microsoft verified app

Windows Specifications says edition is Windows 10 Home

Under settings App, I do not have that drop down. I have under apps & features

then a search this list bar

and the list of apps.

And i dunno its from the app or something, sometimes i need to refresh several times to show the content

One more please add app update notification from the app or button for reporting bugs or suggestion


One suggestion, may you put menu on dropdown on top corner so we can move without pressing back again and again
