Windows 10: Apps in Startup folder don't

Running Windows 10 Pro with all the latest updates.Have several app shortcuts in my startup folder and they always started when my PC booted up. But for the last few days they haven't started when my PC boots. Windows updated a few days ago 3-7-23 so that could be the problem. I've used Settings-Apps-Startup to turn on the apps but the next time I boot up they fail to start and in Settings-Apps-Startup they are all turned off again. Should I uninstall the latest Windows update?

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

 

Unable to enable a startup app

I can't enable windows store app to start with windows.

The step I folowed are

• Open task manager
• go to startup tab
• select the app
• enable

and when I reopen it's set at disable

Startup programs not launching on startup

Replying to Brink none of that works here is why-
Step 1- No items listed in startup on task manager as stated.
Step 2- I dont have shell:Startup on the pc as it cannot be located
Step 3- I dont understand that option also the startup folder cannot be found
Step 4- No apps showing under startup on settings
Step 5- Dont have access to advanced options at all for any apps
Step 6- Doesn't work.

@dalchina, Will try the program now and no I have no suitable restore points and also nothing that I am aware of has been updated besides for Windows Updates but nothing major. WIll respond once I try the program.
