  1. Apps install in the incorrect drive

Good dayI hope you are well. My apps keep on installing on my C drive rather than my D drive. Do you perhaps know why it does this even though all of my content is set to be saved in my D drive, as shown in the image below? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    :)

  3. Unable to install Apps downloaded from Windows Store

    Hi, Vinesh.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand your concern, and we in Community will try to help you in the best possible way.

I suggest that you perform the steps mentioned below and check if the issue occurs.

    Step 1: Run App Troubleshooter.

Note: The troubleshooter automatically fixes some issues that might prevent your apps from running, including suboptimal screen resolution and incorrect security or account settings.

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
    • Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
    • Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

    Step 2:

If the issue persist, I would suggest that you un-install and re-install the app from Windows Store.

Note: Exit store when trying to re-install the app.

Hope this information helps and let us know the status of the issue we will be glad to help you further.

Apps install in the incorrect drive

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Apps install in the incorrect drive :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
