  1. Apps keep freezing because I disabled some services in windows 11

I disabled some services in the services app on windows 11, and now certain apps will freeze and crash when I try to perform certain tasks. Settings will freeze and then crash when I try to uninstall an app, explorer will freeze and then restart when I try to access certain folders, and so on. Does anyone know when service to turn back on to fix this problem?

    :)

  3. Windows 11 Screen Freezes

    Hi, etoile230

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing screen freezes on your Windows 11 tablet. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check for driver updates: Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause freezing issues. Visit the manufacturer's website for your tablet and look for driver updates specifically for Windows 11. Install any available updates for your device.
    2. Disable unnecessary startup programs: Some background applications may conflict with the system, causing freezes. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager, go to the "Startup" tab, and disable any unnecessary programs from starting up with your device.
    3. Perform a clean boot: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

Disclaimer: These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.
    4. Scan for malware: Malware can also cause system instability. Use a reputable antivirus or antimalware program to scan your tablet for any infections.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, it might be helpful to contact the manufacturer's customer support or visit a service center for further assistance. They can provide specialized guidance based on your specific device model.

    Best Regards

    windows 10 mail app freezes

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

From what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to try these steps to see if it resolves the issue.

    Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your touch pad.

    Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select
      Control panel

    • Change the view by option on the top right to
      Large icons

    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the
view all option on the left panel

    • Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

      Refer the link below.

Note: Please don’t run app troubleshooter in the link. This applies to windows 10 also.

      Redirecting

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help
