Windows 10: apps need to run as administrator

I recently reinstalled windows 10 and found that certain apps only worked when I ran as administrator. But before I reinstalled windows the same apps never asked to run as admin. The app in this case is Gif Your Game. To access my game it requires to be run as admin, but before when I opened the app normally it worked fine. This also happened with another app BakkesMod

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

on your applications. Kindly follow the steps below on how to turn User Account Control On or Off:

• Type in UAC on the search bar.
  
• Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
• Perform the following steps:
  • To turn UAC off, drag the slider down to Never notify and click
    OK.
  • To turn UAC on, drag the slider up to the desired level of security and click
    OK.
• You may be prompted to confirm your selection or enter your administrator password.
• Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.
