Windows 10: Apps not opening and downloading from Microsoft Store.

HelloI've been trying to use Kali Linux as WSL, but after enabling WSL, I can't download Kali Linux or any other app from the Microsoft Store. Then, after some searching, I was able to download AppxBundle from store.rg and install it. But when I tried to open it, nothing happened and a line like this appeared, indicating that it was attempting to update the app. Then I tried again, and I read somewhere that it could be because of Microsoft update was not showing up in services.msc. I'm curious as to how to make it work.Please help

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
