Windows 10: Apps not updating tried all methods

G'day been a bit frustrated because my apps won't download and won't update in the microsoft store. I restart the app, I've cleared cache App>Microsoft Store>Advanced I clicked both repair and reset, I've tried logging out and back in, nothing seems to work. The laptop I'm using is a lenovo thinkpad yoga 11e 5th gen and is pretty bad but is for school and is the only laptop i could afford. Surely it's not the laptop itself that can't handle microsoft store although it's really slow and frustrating to use I'm sure it can handle it because last night I was running into the same issue but

In order to diagnose the issue, we suggest that you try the following methods:

Method 1: Kindly run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
To run it, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
  Troubleshooting from the results.
• On the left pane, click View all.
• Click Windows Store Apps.

Method 2: We suggest that you manually reset the Windows Store app cache
and then try to update apps again. To manually reset, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type CMD, and right-click CMD
  from the results.
• Click Run as administrator.
• Type wsreset, and press Enter.

I suggest you to install the Apps in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Right-click on the setup file of the App and select

  Let the apps install and then check the functionality.

Method 2: Update the Apps.
