Windows 10: Apps not working in Windows 11

Ever since I updated my computer from Windows10 to Windows 11, I've encountered many problems. The most serious one is that I can no longer open the Microsoft Photos app and Phone Link. I tried to fix the problem by resetting, restoring, and doing everything that I could in the photo app settings. Nothing worked. I then tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but as soon as I start the installation on the Microsoft Store, it cancels itself. I even tried using an external installer, but that didn't work either. After restarting my computer, when i search the name of the app

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
