    Apps Started Requiring Admin Privileges


    I have admin rights on my computer. Up until about a week ago the vast majority of the apps I ran didn't need to be run as administrator. But all of a sudden stuff won't run unless I run it as administrator. I haven't changed anything as far as user account controls or admin rights.

    Examples of apps now requiring admin rights are:

    Google Backup and Sync (throws a python.dll error)

    iracing

    Crew Chief (for racing sims)



    There have been a few others but can't remember which ones. But they're all really basic apps that have never required admin rights before.

    Ideas?
