  1. Apps starting on it's own

I've disabled everything on the startup on task manager. I've also disabled all of the non-microsoft services on msconfig and by doing "Hide all Microsoft services" and pressing "Disable all". But somehow these background processes are running on it's own:

NEWLY added apps are not showing on Start App list

    Hi Tamal,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Type Start Settings in Search and hit
      Enter.
    • Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.

Hope this information is helpful. Please do let us know if you need further assistance, we’ll be glad to assist you.

    Thanks

  4. Apps starting on it's own

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
