Windows 10: Apps taking long or just not starting at all at boot

    Apps taking long or just not starting at all at boot


    I have a couple of apps selected to startup at boot, but some of them just take insanely long or just wont startup at all. When i open them normally they startup with normal speed. But at startup theyre really slow. Is there a fix?

    The mspaint and photoshop programs take a long time to start

    Hi Tkach,

    Here are some suggestions:

    • Boot into Safe mode and see if the problem persists. This step is to rule out display drivers.
    • Disable the "Windows Image Acquisition" service for testing purposes.
    • Re-run a trace. Start Paint and repro the issue. Save "All Events", *zip* the PML, and upload.

    w10 takes a long time to boot

    My w10 takes a long time to boot, the desktop apps load , then grey out and load again along with the apps pinned to start bar

    Windows 10 taking too long to boot.

    few days back I updated my pc to windows 10 although features are good, but its taking too much time for booting.

    it takes around 5 mins to start its so irritating and same takes too long to log off.

    anyone with the same problem?

    please give suggestions.
