Apps that are fully removed still show in installed apps.

As the title says they still show in the installed apps program even with their current size etcr while they are not installed on the drive anymore and are fully removed. How can I remove those "Ghost Installed Apps" from the list? The 2 programs in the screenshot are not even installed anymore yet they show. Also these are just 2 of the 150 apps that are still "installed" while they are not.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Apps that are fully removed still show in installed apps. :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    removed apps

    Hi Marianne,

One way on how to reinstall apps is by downloading it from Windows
Store. To isolate your query about reinstalling apps, we just have a few questions:

    • Are you referring to the apps that have been downloaded from Windows Store? If so, what are the apps that have been removed from your device?
    • How the apps got removed from your device?

Meanwhile, if you're trying to reinstall apps that have been downloaded from
    Windows
Store, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Click Start, type Store, then press
      Enter
      .
    • On the search bar, type in the name of the app you wish to reinstall, then press
      Enter.
    • Click Free or Buy and wait for the program to install.

Please post back with the result for further assistance.
