Windows 10: Apps wont open on my screen

Apps like google chrome and discord will open in the task bar and will show they are there but will not open up on my screen. They both are unusable now. i have already tried task manager, shutting down and completely uninstalling both and reinstalling

photo app in windows 10 wont load

my photo app wont open, and I cant uninstall it for it does not come up in the apps list in the settings. But it is in the all apps list.

When I have tried to reinstall it from playstore it says already installed. But wont open, and the new Twinui default photo view app wont open any jpeg files it say "class not registered".

I have followed other suggestions of troubleshooting, and system scan with no results.

Any suggestions?

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Samsung focus wont open apps?

I recently had this phone given to me. It has not worked since I received it. When I go to open a tile it flashes as if it was about to load and then goes back to the main screen. The apps that are not working are people, email setup, xbox live, pictures,
music+videos, and marketplace. These also don't open from the menu where the apps are listed. In addition, the camera wont open when the side camera button is pushed and under settings > email + accounts also looks as if it's about to open but then just returns
to the previous screen.

I have tried a hard reset and a soft reset. My computer / zune will not recognize device. Any suggestions?
