How do you run a AppxBundle with powershell?

Install .appxbundle file in Windows 10 Home edition

I created a demo xamarin project. I creates a .appxbundle file. It was successfully installed on Windows 10 Pro edition using App Installer. How can I install it on Windows 10 Home edition.

 

How to deploy UWP appxbundle with dependencies folder to xbox with WinAppDeployCmd command.

Hi all,

I am able to deploy UWP appxbundles without dependencies using command

WinAppDeployCmd install -file <path> -ip <address>

But if i include some dependencies into my project like

Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00.appx

Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.12.00.Universal.appx

Then when i package the app , with appxbundle we also have a dependencies folder.

Now if i try to use this same command

WinAppDeployCmd install -file <path> -ip <address>

or

WinAppDeployCmd install -file <path> -ip <address> -dependency <a> <b>



deployment fails.

Errors :

How to install Skype appxbundle without Windows Store?

I cannot find a way to install the Skype appxbundle at the end.

But the good news is Skype is a built in app which comes with Windows 10 version 1709 ... i think it will also be upgrade when MS release their big update for Windows 10. Let's hope the Skype will not retrieve the old version before Microsoft released Windows
10 updates ...
