Windows 10: April 10th 2018 Version of Windows

    April 10th 2018 Version of Windows


    So I received a popup tonight telling me that the April 10th 2018 version of Windows would no longer be supported after this November, and was prompted to update and restart. I did so, no biggy. After about half an hour on my PC, I got the same pop-up and prompt again!

    I went to Troubleshooting, ran the option to "Fix problems with Windows Update", and it said everything was fixed, so I did the update again. Now after two hours, I'm being prompted to update a third time! What gives? And how much trouble am I in-for long term if I keep getting stuck on a no-longer-supported version of Windows?

    What is latest version of windows 10 home edition ?

    As of today, the latest version is version 1709.

    Windows 10 version 1803 is due on 10th April 2018.

    Yesterday upgrade from Windows 7 to the latest version - Windows 10 April 2018
    My problem is the following

    Windows 10 April 2018, Brightness NOT adjustable, does not work
    I tried all possible steps

    Only the option left to reinstall Windows 10
    How to fix it

    I am asking for advice
