Windows 10: Are all these really necessary on my system?

How many Microsoft Visua C++ Redistributables are necessary? I have SIXTEEN of them installed on my machine. C'mon man. You know the thing.I have both 32 and 64 bit versions of20052008 - multiple version201020122013 - multiple version s2015-2022

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Disk space usage, is this really necessary?

Ok, well Driverstore explorer gave me the option of removing 1 older version of Nvidia drivers.
But this removed only about 500Mb so I think I will need to use DDU and clean install latest Nvidia driver which is a pita if I need to do it every time a new driver or Experience update is released.
This is my situation after Driverstore ran.










As you can see there is still well over a gigabyte left in various folders. Unfortunately some of the Nvidia folders are a rats nest to dig into and work out what is essential and what is bloat, as in updates that have been applied but for some reason are kept in reserve.
