    Hi, so I have a concern, mainly of security. I noticed that browsers can just import passwords from another browser without some authentication. For me, that is such a massive security concern. What's stopping a malicious browser that was installed importing another browser's passwords then upload it somewhere? It's all in there, mind you. I have 2FA on all my major accounts though, so less worries there but it's still a major security concern. There should be a system-wide or windows user account-wide global settings for security that absolutely prevents browser applications from communicatin

    If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    Are there any further steps to import passwords? I have all bookmarks and favourites in EDGE, but no saved passwords
